O.k so Agri's big carbuncle has gone away ( for now )
Great news for the Eastham and Wirral no doubt!!.
But how can we prevent another speculative developer such as Agri from using these green fields to build a production facility of a similar size, with the potential for pollution?
How can we get the land usage changed?
What isthe next move?
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Many thanks for the comments left so far on our blog page,
We have had well over 200 entries.
We have now archived the blog entries recieved so far which we will use at some point in our campaign.
Agri Energy have delayed submittal of their application untill mid July so untill then we have to play a waiting game. The eastham fights back team are well prepared and ready to act as soon as we see these plans.Untill then we will continue to post any updates on our site.
Please continue leaving your comments and dont forget to add your name to the online petition.
Many thanks

Thank you to the hundreds of people who took time out to attend our public meeting on Wednesday. We are sorry if you ended up watching from the car park, but we trust the outdoor speakers did the trick.
Thank you to everyone who helped organize the night which was turned round in less than a week.
Special thanks to the guest speakers - Jeff Clark ( conservative MP ) and Phil Gilchrist and Tom Harney ( Lib Dems ) who I though gave an honest and balanced view on the plannimng procedure.
We are currently organising a protest march from Eastham Ferry to Eastham village sometime in July. This will hopefully end with a Barbeque at the Rugby Club ( deatils to be confirmed )We are expecting over 500 people to attend.
Any good ideas for the day, let us know.
Thanks again

Thank you to everyone who turned up on Friday, what an amazing evening.
I think everyone involved was energized by the turn out.Lets hope we get ten times that when we march on the town hall!!
On Monday the campaign starts for real, so keep your ideas and opinions coming.
Rest assured we will not let the application for this plant become a formality.
It is NOT a done deal !!!

I have had to remove another comment because of its content. I cannot allow post containing expletives to remain on view as children are viewing this site. I know there will be a difference in opinion, but unless you reveal your real identity I cant be sure if its not a prank.
Please treat this blog with respect, as the proposed building of this plant is allready having a huge impact on the lives of local residents.
Thank You,
Webmaster
